It all started at 3 this afternoon. I arrived at the airport, checked my luggage, went through airport security, and even boarded the plane. Then, the fun happened. There was no AC, an obviously drunk lady was seated next to me, and we spent 2 hours on the plane...SITTING STILL. We deplaned and then sat in the terminal for another 2 hours. Ultimately, our flight was cancelled because the damage to our plane, which stemmed from overheating, could not be repaired. American Airlines was kind enough to give the girls and me hotel vouchers for the Four Points. (Ashton, I'm so happy! It's a Sheraton hotel!) We fly out of RDU tomorrow night at 6 to Chicago and then to London at 9:45.
Overall, today really wasn't that bad. It was a bonding experience for our group. I'm very excited to be spending so much time with all of these girls. They are so sweet.
If today is any indication as to how this trip will be, I can expect a wonderful adventure!
Well I am very tired now, so I think I will curl up in my big Sheraton bed and catch some sleep.
